33 weeks, 7 to go!

im not very good at updating this thing, i totally forgot about it. alex is on a retreat the rest of the weekend. he left last night and im really lonely. my mom comes up tomorrow and sunday is my shower! i cant wait to see everybody! lauren is such a good friend for throwing me 2 showers in one year! i just had my bridal shower back in january!
How far along? 33 weeks, 7 until my due date. OMG.
Maternity clothes?: still wearing a lot of my regular shirts, surprisingly. as for pants/jeans, definitely sporting the elastic waist.
Total weight gain/loss: i was up 21 pounds last monday at the dr. right on track! they want me to gain no more than 35.
Stretch marks? not yet....i feel like one is just going to spring up, though.
Sleep:
its been hard. ive been taking an approved sleep aid (basically the stuff in benadryl that makes you sleep) every now and then, sometimes ill wake up to pee and ill lie there for several hours before falling back asleep and i dont get any REM. but i slept great last night...maybe because i had the bed all to myself and i was able to spread out.
Best moment this week: this sunday will be the best! my baby shower!

Movement:
i swear this child doesnt sleep. he's squirming around all the time. we recorded him moving a few nights ago...
Food cravings: ice cream

Gender:
boy
Labor Signs: had some PTL issues since the last blog post, but i dont think hes coming TOO soon.
Belly Button in or out? in..barely.

What I miss: sleeping on my stomach, normal clothes, being able to get up with no problem

What I am looking forward to: sunday and seeing everyone at my shower!
Weekly Wisdom:
sleep when your baby sleeps (once hes here)...dont try to get stuff done, your sanity is more important.
Milestones:
at this point, james will be gaining around 1/2 pound a week and may grow a full inch this week alone!

Total weight gain/loss: i wont know until i go to the doctor, i dont weigh myself
Stretch marks? not yet
Sleep:
i slept really well last night
Best moment this week:
registering at babies r us, we spent almost 2 hours there. there is WAY too much stuff.
Movement:
im starting to see a pattern, he's awake during the day and asleep at night. wouldn't that be nice if it stayed that way? ha!
Food cravings:
still watermelon icees.
Gender:
boy
Labor Signs: none
Belly Button in or out?
very shallow, i can press on it and make it an outie now.
What I miss:
im going to miss my feet pretty soon

First Blog!

How far along? 19 weeks 3 days, almost halfway (the picture is 18 weeks 3 days)
Total weight gain/loss: +7 pounds
Maternity clothes? bottoms, yes. i have just a couple maternity shirts i'm wearing, too. for the most part i can wear my regular shirts. im wearing a lot of dresses that give me growing room to stay comfy at work.
Stretch marks? not yet...im sure my days are numbered!
Sleep: halfway between on my side and on my stomach. sometimes on my back since im not too huge yet.
Best moment this week: nothing really exciting yet
Movement: last weekend he was moving around all day long and alex got to feel it! that was really exciting. i feel him everyday now but he's been pretty lowkey.
Food cravings: chili cheese dogs, sour watermelon icees, ice cream (but it has to be coldstone creamery)
Gender: a boy! poor thing still has no name.
Labor Signs: none, and it better stay that way for a while.
Belly Button in or out? in...its usually deep and its been getting pretty shallow. im sure ill end up with an outie.
What I miss: my waist and hipbones. what are those?
What I am looking forward to: registering this weekend
Weekly Wisdom: none!
Milestones: The last big one was Alex feeling him kick.

I am feeling so much better (nausea nonexistent at this point-YAY!), but I definitely need a lot of extra sleep. i get tired really easily. and i feel bad asking people at work to help me lift things like boxes of coin but i guess i have to get the help! (thanks to placenta previa i can't lift anything or exercise...i hope and pray my placentra has moved up at my next appointment august 10th. otherwise the chances of it moving go way down and i will probably be a c-section).
